Ingredients

  • 4 medium chicken breasts uncooked
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill packed
  • 1 tsp garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven or grill to 400℉.
  • To a large bowl, add the chicken breasts, Greek yogurt, fresh dill, garlic cloves, salt and pepper. Mix until all of the chicken is coated in the sauce.
  • Once the grill is heated, place the chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and its internal temperature reaches 165℉.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Serve the chicken with your choice of sides or on a salad and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions

  • Chicken breasts
    • I haven't tried this recipe with chicken thighs but I'm confident it would work just as well. Depending on the size of the bird, you will need 2-3 chicken thighs for every 1 chicken breast called for in this recipe.
  • Fresh dill
    • If you don't have fresh dill you can use dried dill but make sure to reduce the amount, since dried herbs are more potent in flavour. I recommend using 1.5 tbsp of dried dill if you don't have any fresh.
  • Minced garlic
    • If you prefer to use garlic powder instead of minced garlic, reduce the amount called for. I recommend using 1/4-1/2 tsp of garlic powder in place of 1 tsp of minced garlic.
