Lime Crema
Fish tacos require minimal prep, are totally satisfying and can be completely customized to your preferences. If you are a taco aficionado, toppings are just as important as fish itself.
Some popular favourites are pico de gallo or mango salsa, avocado and a lime crema to dress it up a bit.
Crema is the Mexican version of French crème fraîche. Both are slightly soured and thickened cream. Milder and thinner in consistency than American sour cream, with crema being the thinnest. This healthier version is a tangy and delicious addition to your everyday taco.


Lime Crema
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp fresh cilantro
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Zest of 1 lime
Instructions
- Mix everything together in a small bowl.
- Serve over your favourite variation of tacos and enjoy!
