Green Funky Monkey Smoothie
I may speak for myself when I say I used to HATE bananas in my smoothies. Thankfully, my taste buds came to their senses and now I can’t get enough…weird how that happens, isn’t it?
The only issue with a lot of commercially made smoothies is the huge amount of sugar- either naturally from a ton of fruits or added from flavoured yogurts, juices and sweeteners.
I wanted to get away from that and make a simple yet nutritious drink you can make in mere minutes for those busy mornings!


Green Funky Monkey Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 frozen medium-sized banana
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach leaves
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp flax seeds, ground (optional)
- 1 tsp hemp hearts, (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and mix on medium-high until well combined.
